Changes involve thinking differently, feeling differently, and /or acting differently. Therapy is a process in which one moves along in their development, enhances their relationship with themselves and with others, and that helps them adjust and face challenges.
Why someone needs therapy can vary greatly from person to person, or family to family:
There are just of few of the reasons someone may seek therapy.
At Clinical & Family Therapy Associates (CFTA), the clinical subsidiary of SyMedica, you will find compassionate and experienced professionals to share your story. You will not just be listened to, you will be heard! It is a powerful experience that you may not be getting elsewhere in your life.
We offer a discreet level of service to our clients and patient families. While we strive to provide our services in collaboration with our clientele’s primary care and specialist healthcare providers, the treatment goals and plans are always agreed upon between our clients and us in advance of the services we provide.
This commitment to privacy and discretion also impacts the financial policies for clinical services Clinical and Family Therapy Associates provides. We do not file insurance for the services we provide due to the enormous detrimental ramifications such common practices have upon our patients privacy. We will assist our patients in obtaining applicable reimbursement for the services we render in accordance with our client’s privacy goals.
Our clinical approach for addictions treatment is based on a medical model of collaboration. It isa departure from traditional twelve-step treatment models of care. There has been a subsantial development in neurological research, cognitive behavioral methodological treatments, and family systems treatment. We incorporate both alternative and traditional models to provide the most effective care possible for our patients. We believe our patient’s whole continuum of clinical care, wellness, and health goals be considered in establishing a successful plan of care.
